The Mooring started because the South Shore deserved better. There was one site covering weekend events — and it was a wall of affiliate links, outdated listings, and content that hadn't been updated since 2009.
We built something different. Every Thursday morning, The Mooring publishes a curated, weather-aware guide to the best of what's happening on the South Shore — live music, brewery events, outdoor adventures, family activities, and arts. Written like a local friend, not a press release.
We cover 13 towns from Quincy to Plymouth. We work with venues directly. We don't do affiliate spam.
